YBP Facilitated Training Program
Yayasan Bali Peduli (YBP) facilitated a training program on HIV and AIDS management and treatment for health providers in Gianyar last week.
The program was aimed at boosting the skills of health practitioners in accordance with the Integrated Management of Adolescent and Adult Illnesses (IMAI) standard.
The program was facilitated by three doctors from Bandung, Jakarta and Bali and aims to improve the skills of front-line health professionals with regards to the management of HIV and AIDS treatment.
In her opening address, YBP’s Chairperson, Lily Wardoyo expressed hope that the event will lead to even stronger collaboration with the Bali health authorities, both at provincial and regional levels, to achieve the common goal of halting the spread of HIV on the island.
Collaboration is something YBP endeavors to work towards and is one of our main goals for the next coming year.
